It Certainly wont be this one! I had a black slim playstation for say 8 years? and it finnally had broken a few months back... and thats that i left it on OVERNIGHT many times while it overheated since there were some games you couldent save till a certain point or i just didint feel like rebooting the system the next sunday morning.. but alas I think i found the culprit of the reason it broke i was wildily using codebreaker and gameshark cheats on it and it only started being slow with my games and failing to work after this... ah after months of using said cheat devices one day i woke up to play it it started up fine but it wouldent read the disc i kept trying and trying i even cleaned it out with a dust blower and an laser lense cleaner but it wasent that it was dirty.... no i soon found out because when i closed it without a game in it it thought a game was in and tried to read what was not there... I bought a replacement in a silver color so I wouldent be reminded of my past ps2 every time i played it ive had the silver ps2 slim for a while now and no problems so far hopefully it lasts much longer with no codes.. or should I call it CONSOLE KILLERS!!! anyway..this console is truley amazing to make it last longer and more efficient with more full enjoy ment buy the following JVC brand lens cleaner good for 50 cycles each controll extension
64 MB memory card back up all your data or just to store ALOT of games soft cloth to clean surface of ps2 the following PS1 and ps2 games Also highly reccomend buying a psone with lcd screen and car adapter or adapter converter great for travel buy with these Crash Bandicoot,Crash Bandicoot 2, Crash Bandicoot 3,Crash Team racing CTR, Crash Bash, Croc legend of gobbos, Croc 2, Dragonball GT, final Bout, Hes back Frogger!, Frogger 2 swampys revenge, Harry potter sorcerers Stone,Pipe Dreams 3D, Spyro The Dragon, Spyro 2 Riptos Rage, Spyro 3 year of the dragon,withps2 ant bully, Crash Bandicoot the wrath of cortex,Edd Edd &Eddy the misedventures whew long title!, The grim adventures of billy and mandy, The Simpsons Hit and Run, Sitting ducks, Sonic riders ,Spyro Enter the dragonfly, Spyro A Heros tail the last two good spyros for ps2 and psone Star wars the force unleashed, Man! thats alot of games I own all of them in my private collection that i recently bought cause when i was younger i broke ALL of them!!! now i finnaly have them all at once- and i can acually take care of them now and even if i fail to do so accidents happen dont rebuy them! their expensive as it is Is i bought them all used in at least very good to like new condition with their artwork and manual allways buy complete no matter what! to ensure a long life of your discs allthough they wont superficially look so great if one of your discs no longer work dont panic do not but another copy! much too expensive unless your some kind of billionair who likes games alot sure buy 100 new cops for $100 each but if you cant afford it get the skip doctor disk resurfacing machine reach instructions before using... also get the classic hand crak version skip doctor game doctor or dvd doctor they all do the same just different color wheel because the motorized version has tendancy to burn discs or the motor blows up after a few uses each wheel if good for 50 cycles see instructions for how much 1 cycle is and make a list to check off uses also get 3_5 refill kits comes with another wheel resurfacing fluid another soft cloth and felt buffering pad for like $12:00 each this machine really does work buy just as i have it will ensure long life to your collection as well as everything else here i also have a review on the psone with lcd screen combo read my review it might help if you decide to buy one i also suggest you buy sylvania brand wireless headphones they have pretty good sound quality allthough if your game has somthing too high pitched or you get too far from the sensor it will fuzz a bit but go back to normal soon after well not much more to say but i hope your ps2 and or psone last long enjoy your purchase i know you will.... and you will not regret it!

I got my PS2 on christmas of 2004 when I was in 4th grade, and now in 2010, after 6 years of intense gaming, THE THING STILL WORKS LIKE A CHARM! I just sold it recently though but this is one of the best consoles of its generation. I don't know if anyone is going to buy one now with XBOX 360s, PS3s and WIIs out but this little guy will last you forever. Very reliable, nice and small, and online gaming! I never had internet access where my ps2 was so I never gamed online but I heard it was awesome, even though almost all the servers are closed for online ps2 games.

This was my First gaming system so I was hesitant at first but LOVE how small and Great it is! The only Down side is it doesn't have an off switch so you have to unplug it from the wall.

Great console!Good variety of games that are still compatible w/ this version. I've had no complaints since I received it 2yrs ago. Bonus:Plays DVDs.

This console does'nt have a fan and it burns out fast. This one wasnt made as well as the orginal, its designed not to last long.
